Arts and Crafts Style Garage

Our challenge here was to build a useable and modern garage on an inner city lot to match an existing Arts and Crafts style home built around 1910. We matched the style of the existing house, noting the exposed rafter tails, knee braces, door and window trim. We used lap siding for the lower portion and cedar shingles above. The garage has a large parking area and a loft above for storage or a child's play area.
